Carbon Bamboo Textile Carbon bamboo fabrics are derived from bamboo charcoal made into a powder by nanometer technology. The process begins with melting the charcoal into (PET) polyester fiber by a melting filature process. Carbon bamboo contains negative ions, this combined with bamboo’s natural absorption abilities and extremely porous construction, triggers carbon bamboo to eliminate odors caused by bacteria, smoke, gas and chemicals. When it needs to carbon bamboo can act as a drying agent and it also retains moisture very well. Like bamboo fabric, carbon bamboo fabric is warm in cold weather and cool in warm weather. There are claims that carbon bamboo promotes better blood circulation and promotes healing. All of the above mentioned characteristics are not affected in any way by washing.
